![]() ![]() The user interface of the apps is one of the primary things that attract users to have those apps installed on their devices. As an example, if you want to schedule any email notification on the calendar, then the concerned email app should synchronize with the calendar app installed on your iPhone. To function all the activities on the email apps smoothly, there should be an apt synchronization with the other apps also. You’d also want the key options to be visible firsthand or there should be shortcuts to those important options in the home screen of those email apps. The last thing you would want after being connected to a workspace is a clunky email app that does not give you a timely notification or the chance of replying promptly. Since the whole Music folder from Apple Music has about 90 GB, I wanted to delete only the streaming files, because, correct me if I am wrong, the files themselves use a lot of disc space. What to look for when choosing Email apps for iPhone Now I have the problem, that I need more internal storage for my mac. Since the update on Catalina, iTunes was deactivated and my original own music files got into Apple Music, together with the streaming music files. Later changing to an iMac, the iTunes Library stack more and more music files. So I have started to listen to my own music over an iPod with Itunes Music on a Windows PC. I am using an Apple device since I am 14 years old. I have some issues with the Apple Music App and I can't figure that out by myself. This is my first post ever in the community forum of Apple. The only way to get it back was to re-subscribe.ĭelete the Apple Music streaming files from MacBook to get extra internal storage Hey there! Apple was unable or not willing to fix this for me. I expected that the Apple Music part of my library would be gone but that was only a small portion of the collection and I lost it all. However when I tried that my entire library went poof. A couple years ago I tried out Amazon music because I was already paying for Prime and some music was included. ![]() My motivation here is to protect my library from disappearing if I should ever opt out of my subscription. I would really appreciate a solution if anyone has one for me. This is working but having moved the first 85 gigabytes I must now delete the downloads to move on to the next part. The size of my library is 540 gigabytes but the size of my ssd is only 256 gigabytes so I’m doing it in sections. I’m trying to move my library to external storage and it seems I can only copy and paste to external storage music already downloaded to the Mac. There seem to be several ways to do this song by song but I can’t figure out if there’s a way to do it all at once. If its possible that would be neat because I could free up so much space.ĭownloaded music in iTunes I’m trying to remove downloaded music from iTunes to free up space. I read one article about keeping music on an external hard drive but I couldn't figure that out. I really need help because I basically have no storage left. I also have all my music on an external hard drive so I can start again but I don't want to because all my playlists will be deleted. I definitely don't have 53 GB of documents and I'm certain something is wrong with the music files that they show up twice. When I right click on the iTunes folder it says it is only 173 MB. ![]() Inside the music folder is my music as well as the iTunes folder. When I right click on music in finder and select get info it says 49 GB. This makes me think that my music has doubled somehow.īut looking at iTunes it says I have 49 GB of music. When I went to Manage it comes up with my music folder including in the documents storage space. Itunes and music doubled storage Looking in "about this Mac" in storage, I can see that documents and iTunes take up very similar large storage amounts. ![]()
